Sporty Poles in Auckland family craft workshop

September 25, 2025 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

$10.00

Part of Auckland Heritage Festival 2025. Theme: Auckland at Play. “Don’t think of what you were, but of what you are and of what you aspire to be.” That’s the personal motto of Wojtek Czyz who trained in Auckland before competing in the Paris Paralympics. ASB Tennis Classic singles winner Aga Radwanska said, “I have never lost in Auckland so I have very good memories!” Runner-up, Iga Swiatek organised a charity tennis event with Aga Radwanska to raise money for children and teenagers impacted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Iga has now won at Wimbledon. Learn about their sporting journeys as young athletes on the world stage, then create your own tennis and badminton racket crafts to play balloon tennis.

All children to be accompanied by an adult please.  $10 per person with payment by cash or online banking. Sorry no Eftpos. Bookings preferred. Email: phtmuseum@outlook.com  Ph 09 533 3530
