‘Polish Street’ is a series of photographs by Polish photographer Damian Chrobak, capturing decisive, surprising, often full of humour places and people in contemporary Poland.

His style is often compared to the classical photographers, masters of street photography such as Robert Doisneau.

In his black and white images the viewer can discover the old and new face of Poland and ‘one second stories’ of various people –  the priest giving a blessing on the street, different emotions on faces of passes by and the rushing hours on Warsaw streets.

Damian says ‘People fascinate me, daily life situations, what they wear, what they do in their daily routine’.

Exhibition runs during our opening hours  Tuesday – Friday 10-4 and Sunday 12-5 as part of the ‘Auckland Festival of Photography’ 2015.

Sunday Winter films resumes  21st June with…. see more details on calendar.
